Assignment 1 - Duplicating a Logo

Use the internet to find a logo of your choice ..... favourite team, designer product, etc. Save the original logo as OriginalLogo in your K:Drive > Unit 1
Make sure that the logo is not too simple, your mark will be based on degree of difficulty. The logo must contain both text and graphics. It must also include different shapes and the use of curves.

Using Corel Draw reproduce the logo as accurately as possible. You may not copy or trace any part of the logo.

Save your file as duplicate.cdr and Export it as duplicate.jpg

Upload the .cdr and .jpg files to the appropriate folders and post in the same format as the previous assignment.

Assignment 2 - Designing your own Logo

Design a logo that represents you. Your logo must include geometric shapes with fill colour and borders, text on a curve, and you must use the artistic media tool and the bezier tool in your drawing. Your name must appear somewhere in the logo. Make use of the drop shadow tool to give your drawing depth. You should also experiment with at least one other tool that we have not used yet.

Upload the .cdr and .jpg file to the appropriate folders and post in the same format as the previous assignment.
